Wealthy Heart Foundation: Dedication and Service
by Founder Julie B.

I’ve known that I was meant for a life of service early on. Since I was a child, I’ve derived great satisfaction in helping others. For me, this manifested in many ways – including serving mass at the local church, mentoring younger girls in my Brownies cohort, integrating classmates into extracurricular activities as class president, serving meals at a centre for people living with HIV/AIDS, etc. Mostly though, what I had in mind for a long time was to work for an organization that provided health services for people in need in Africa. The closest I got to it was with a volunteer assignment to evaluate AID Service Organizations in Suriname, South America. I enjoyed it greatly, but it didn’t fully quench my thirst to make a difference on this earth. Welcoming my beautiful baby girl into our world in 2011 put a hiatus on my plans to travel to places that offered less than favourable conditions for a child. I still supported various causes through yearly donations, but my desire to do more to help people in need persisted. In July 2022, my sister Marie and her kids visited us from Québec City. An eternal dreamer, she purchased a lottery ticket for our two families and said: "If we win, you and I will establish a foundation so you can do all the good you want. You’ll lead it, and I’ll help you with the financials and operation. Maybe I could buy a house in Costa Rica and run things from there. It’s feasible, right?" "Of course, it is", I replied. "People need help everywhere, and the internet makes it possible to do that in any way we want. And why wouldn’t we also get to live a wonderful life in the process?" We didn’t win that day, but the dream remained in the back of my mind. I continued mulling it over, especially as I was steadily growing unsatisfied with my own career – while I was by many standards very successful and I enjoyed improving our healthcare system, etc, I didn’t like that I wasn’t having a direct impact on the lives of people who were struggling or who could also themselves do so much more with their existence if they only had the means to do it. I was convinced that there was a way I could more fully and optimally leverage my talents while helping others have a better life. So my daughter and I started designing our ideal life and the Wealthy Heart Foundation. I studied and applied manifestation techniques to support the mindshift and visualisations I needed to get here and continue to meditate daily to support this dream (Crediting Reagan Hillyer and Vinesh Lakhiani from MindValley for their teachings). I am incredibly excited to embark on this journey and pursue this undertaking together with my family, close friends, and those of you who decide to partake. Thank you, Julie

From Idea to Reality: The Evolution of Wealthy Heart Foundation

The Wealthy Heart Foundation grew out of a desire my sister, daughter, and I had to help the world – in particular vulnerable populations and minorities. We decided to focus the Foundation's mission towards helping indigenous people, immigrants, women, children, and animals in needs. There is so much we want to do, so many people to help – here locally and abroad. We entail to do it all. But we will do so in phases to ensure we do it well and do not set ourselves to fail. We are supported by a few dear friends, a couple of employees, and partners who will help us make this all possible so that as many can benefit from our programs.
