Our Story

Dedication and Service

The Wealthy Heart Foundation grew out of a desire my sister, daughter, and I had to help the world and vulnerable populations in our country of Canada – in particular, indigenous communities, immigrants, women, children, and animals in needs.

For me, it's difficult to pick just one single point of focus – I wish to contribute to ending the cycle of poverty for women while supporting every great cause that aims to make our world a better place by addressing environmental, health, political, and social issues. One thing that particularly strikes a chord with me is being able to help people who, from birth, were not dealt the right cards to escape or overcome a bad situation and attain a happy and prosperous life for themselves and their families. Ideally, I'd like the Foundation to provide those who desire the means to create generational wealth for their children and beyond.

Marie’s interests lie more specifically with helping single mothers and their kids conquer poverty and thrive. Our own mother was once in that situation – alone with three children – and was able to build an abundant life that set us up with the tools we needed to thrive on our own. Marie has always been there for other mothers who need support, and she wishes to do more though the Foundation.

As for Simone, she always had a fondness for animals and a desire to help them. This includes efforts to save their habitat, such as fundraising to preserve our forests and oceans. In recent years, she also decided to provide kids with cooking skills (while feeding their bellies) because so many go to school unnoticed with an empty stomach. Even in our 'developed' country.

There is so much we want to do, so many people to help – locally and abroad. We entail to tackles initiatives in phases and in a measured way to ensure we do not overwhelm ourselves and can accomplish all in a truly meaningful manner.
